Leonard Hutton Galleries is pleased to announce its participation in Master Drawings New York 2015. Based upon the highly successful Master Drawings London, this event features 32 galleries on New York's Upper East Side, as well as two auction houses, for the display of works on paper from the 16th through the 21st centuries, in mediums such as pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, watercolor, oil on paper sketches and more. The gallery will be presenting a broad selection of 20th and 21st century art, including important early pencil studies by Fernand Léger and Oskar Schlemmer; a calligraphic Abstract Expressionist work by Jack Tworkov; Minimalist drawings by Beatrice Riese; as well as works by Robert Delaunay, Sonia Delaunay, Sam Francis, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Joan Miro, Henry Moore, Ben Nicolson and others.
Master Drawings New York opens to the public on Saturday, January 24th and continues through Saturday January 31st. Special exhibition hours as follows:Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday hours from 11am-6pm. Tuesday hours 11am to 8pm. Closed Sunday. The gallery's exhibition of works on paper will remain on view through February 23rd.
